Email Marketing

There aren’t too many mediums that allow you to view the success or failure of any marketing campaign instantly like a well produced email campaign can. You can instantly view your results in real time, make adjustment if necessary and measure accurately.

Although the benefits with email campaigns are many, no shop should use it as their only means of communicating with their clients. You have to remember that people like to be talked to in many ways. Email is just one way to do it. The old adage, “Different strokes, for different folks” applies here. Some people may prefer email while others like direct phone calls, letters, postcards, voice mail or even text. Drill down some more and they may prefer to recieve a specific message through one specific medium only. An example may be a service reminder versus a “service is complete” message. They may request a service reminder be sent through regular mail, but they’ll be glad to take a text message to tell them their service for the day is complete. The modern shop not only has to have the right service tools to perform the correct repairs, but it also must have the right communication tools to get the effective messages out.
